The mission of the SLMMF is to bring together Muslims who are involved in the Print and Electronic Media and also those who are involved in the communication industry in educating, imparting knowledge and training of Media Personnel in the country.

Posted on: 16/09/2009 Fellowships and Awards Deadline: 15/10/2009 Region: Worldwide The 2009 Knight News Challenge is year three of a contest awarding as much as US$5 million a year for innovative ideas that develop platforms, tools and services to inform and transform community news, conversations and information distribution and visualization. Knight Foundation plans to invest at least US$25 million over five years in the search for bold community news and social media experiments.
