US-Asia fellowships available for political scholars, analysts
Posted on: 28/07/2009 International Experience Deadline: 15/10/2009 Region: Asia and the PacificScholars and analysts from Northeast Asia, South Asia or Southeast Asia who research and write about international relations and political change in their region, or relations between the U.S. and their region, can apply for a fellowship in Washington, D.C., to take place in September 2010. The deadline for applications is October 15.
The fellowship finances a three-month residence at the East-West Center in DC. While in DC, fellows will complete an article or monograph. A monthly stipend of US$2,500 to $4,500 will be provided, as well as round-trip economy airfare to Washington, D.C.
Applicants should be nationals of a country within the scope of their fellowship and eligible to receive a fellowship stipend. Applicants will be notified of selection decisions by December 20.
